At Athenry Primary School, we are proud of our strong tradition of education, rooted in the histories of both Scoil Chroí Naofa and Athenry Boys School. Together, we continue to build on this legacy by offering a high standard of teaching and learning, supported by a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

Our dedicated staff work in partnership with parents to ensure that each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential — academically, socially, and personally.

As we look to the future, we are excited about the development of our new 24-classroom school, which will provide a modern and dynamic learning environment for the children of Athenry for generations to come.

We warmly welcome applications for enrolment. Admission forms can be collected from the office of either campus or downloaded directly from the ‘Admissions’ section of this website and returned to the school.
